Privacy policy

What we collect

Myya Money is a personal finance notebook. To do its job it stores, on your behalf:

• Your account identity: email address and, if you sign in with Apple, your Apple user identifier.
• Financial records you add: bank statements you upload, transactions, balances, loans, client contracts, and payments you record.
• Bank data you connect: if you link a bank account, transactions and balances are retrieved through Plaid, our bank data provider.

How we use it

Your data is used only to run the product for you: computing your runway, chase lists, revenue glances, and the other numbers you see on screen. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for tracking across apps or websites.

Where it lives

Data is stored in Supabase (Postgres) with row-level security scoping every record to your account. Bank credentials are never stored by us: when you connect a bank, credentials go directly to Plaid, and we keep only an access token to retrieve your transactions.

Who helps us run it

We use a small set of service providers to operate Myya Money. They process data only to provide their piece of the product:

• Supabase: database and authentication.
• Plaid: bank linking; your bank credentials stay with Plaid.
• Stripe: web subscription billing.
• Apple: Sign in with Apple and App Store subscriptions.
• OpenAI: CFO chat and document search send relevant context from your notebook to generate answers. We use OpenAI's API; your data is not used to train models for others.
• PostHog: product usage and error reporting. We do not send dollar amounts to analytics.
• Resend: sign-in and product email from @myya.us addresses.

Sharing

Nobody sees your notebook unless you invite them. Invited members (for example an accountant or family member) get exactly the access role you grant, and you can revoke it at any time.

Deletion

You can delete uploaded statements and recorded data in the app at any time. To delete your entire account, go to Settings, type DELETE to confirm, and everything is removed immediately and irreversibly. If you cannot access your account, email privacy@myya.us and we will help.

Your rights

Myya Money is not for anyone under 18 (see our Terms of Service). We do not sell personal information. California residents and anyone else with privacy questions can delete data from Settings or contact privacy@myya.us.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the product; continued use after that means you accept the updated policy.
